📜 Official Rules – JSS Navotthana 2.0 🧑🤝🧑 Team Formation
- Each team must consist of 2–4 members.
- Participants can be part of only one team.
- Team details must match the registration form.
- Registration is confirmed only after successful payment via the provided link.
- Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants after completion of Round 1 (Online Coding Contest).
- Only shortlisted teams will proceed to Round 2 (Final Hackathon).
- The registration fee is strictly non-refundable, including for teams not shortlisted for the final round.
- The coding round will be conducted on 7th April 2026 for 4 hours.
- This is an elimination round; only the top 100 teams will qualify.
- 🚫 Use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
- Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or malpractice will result in immediate disqualification.
- The contest will be monitored for suspicious activity.
- The hackathon is a 24-hour offline event.
- Teams must build their project during the hackathon duration only.
- Pre-built templates or starter kits are allowed, but core logic must be developed during the event.
- Projects must align with one of the themes:
- AI for Innovation
- Capture The Flag (Cybersecurity)
- Participants must stay on campus for the full duration of the hackathon.
- No one will be allowed to leave the building after 10:00 PM.
- In case of emergency:
- Prior permission is required.
- Only one team member may leave.
- Participants must wear their ID cards at all times.
- Late entry or absence during reviews may lead to disqualification.
- Teams must be present for all evaluations:
- Stage 1 Review: 6:00 PM (Day 1)
- Stage 2 Review: 9:00 AM (Day 2)
- Final submissions must be completed before the deadline on Devpost.
- Teams must submit:
- Project description
- Demo video
- Source code (GitHub)
- All work must be original. Plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
- The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team violating rules.
- Decisions made by the judges and organizers are final and binding.
- The organizers are not responsible for any personal loss, damage, or negligence.

✅ Expected Behavior- Be respectful and considerate to all participants, mentors, and organizers.
- Collaborate and communicate professionally.
- Follow all instructions given by the organizing team.
- Harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior of any kind.
- Cheating, plagiarism, or unfair practices.
- Damage to property or disruption of the event.
- Any violation of the Code of Conduct may result in:
- Warning
- Disqualification
- Removal from the event
- All official updates will be shared via the @aikyam_jss Instagram page and WhatsApp group.
- Participants are responsible for staying updated.
