JSS Navotthana 2.0 is a 24-hour offline hackathon organized by the Department of CSE (AI & ML), JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bengaluru. It brings together passionate developers, designers, and innovators to build impactful solutions, collaborate, and compete under pressure.

What makes this hackathon unique is its two-stage competitive format designed to test both problem-solving skills and real-world innovation:

💻 Round 1: Coding Contest (Online) (Only for PS1 Participants)
  • 📅 Date: 7th April 2026
  • ⏱️ Duration: 4 Hours
  • Participants will compete in a high-intensity coding round.
  • The top teams will be shortlisted for the final hackathon.
  • Strict proctoring ensures fair play with no AI tool usage.

Everyone will receive participation Certificate.

🔥 Round 2: 24-Hour Offline Hackathon

Shortlisted teams will advance to the main event — an on-campus 24-hour hackathon experience.

To successfully complete your submission, all teams must provide the following on Devpost.

  • Clear explanation of:
    • Problem statement

  • Mention the tech stack used.
🎥 Demo Video
  • A 2–5 minute video demonstrating:
    • Your project
    • How it works
    • Key features
💻 Source Code
  • A GitHub repository link with:
    • Proper README
    • Setup instructions
  • The code must be accessible to judges.
🖼️ Screenshots / Presentation
  • Upload relevant screenshots, UI images, or slides explaining your project.

  • List of all team members
  • Team name (must match registration details)

  • The project must be developed during the hackathon.
  • Plagiarism or using pre-built projects will lead to disqualification.
  • Any external APIs, libraries, or datasets used must be clearly mentioned.
  • Submissions after the deadline will not be considered.
